Works for the tourism promotion have begun by linking seven tourism sites in Rapti municipality. Tourism sector is being promoted through the Rapti Seven Circuit project in the municipality area. Deputy Mayor of the municipality Iman Singh Lama said that Rapti Unity Community Forest located at ward no 5 of the municipality is being developed as an open zoo. A view tower and Bageshwori temple located east from the community forest are going to be spruced up as well.

Similarly, a Buddhist monastery is going to be constructed at Anemang. One can easily view Chitwan district as well as neighbouring districts from north part of Anemang. Lama further said preparations were underway to construct 500 mt steps to reach the temple as well as physical infrastructures to promote overnight packages. A tourism infrastructure would be developed by making Noku cave systematic, he added.

Activities for eco-tourism at Bhawanipur of Rapti municipality-4 will also be started. An ethnic museum and park is going to be constructed. Around Rs 2 billion cost has been estimated for the completion of all these works. The seven circuit could also be linked with Sauraha, Lumbini, Kathmandu and Pokhara.
