The airline has planned to provide wheelchair and ramp facilities for special passengers

Buddha Air, one of the leading private domestic carrier of Nepal is getting ready to introduce on-board wheelchair and ramp facilities for differently abled or those who require special care. The on-board wheelchair can easily fit between the aisle of the aircraft and provides comfort to the passenger.

The carrier is the only airline company to conduct a two-yearly operational safety audit, which depends on all 960 safety standards of International Air Transport Association (IATA), spread over eight segments.

In 2017 more than 20 million Indian tourists visited a foreign country about of which just 160 thousand of them visited Nepal. The carrier has officially established their office at India which will help them to get their market easily.

The airline currently owns 11 aircraft that includes 2 Beechcraft B1900D, 3 ATR 42-320, and 6 ATR 72-500 series aircraft.

The airline is providing services to Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur, Simara, Janakpur, Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Pokhara, Dhangadi, and Tumlingtar from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) along with mountain flights as well as flights to Varanasi, India.
