At a review programme organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law on July 8 in Hetauda, State-3 government announced that they are set to construct peace parks in all 119 local levels of the state. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law has come up with the plan to build peace parks to gradually develop a tourist attraction spot at each local level.
According to the Ministry, the parks' construction would be initiated in a way to complete them within four years, in collaboration with the local governments. The State government has earmarked Rs 100 million for the construction of the parks in the fiscal 2019/20 (2076/77 BS).
Shalikram Jamakattel, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, said, “They would initiate the construction of parks by framing work procedure. The State government has initiated its work to reach out to the grassroots people.”
