From Kathmandu to Pokhara, Poker Run Nepal 2026 returns this Nepali New Year with roaring engines, scenic highways, and a vibrant community of riders—cementing its place as the country’s most iconic motorcycling event.

Nepal’s most anticipated motorcycling event, Poker Run Nepal 2026, is set to take place from 13th to 15th April 2026, coinciding with the celebration of Nepali New Year 2083. Organised by Sacred Summits Pvt. Ltd., the event promises an immersive blend of adventure, camaraderie, and cultural celebration, culminating in Pokhara.

With registration currently open, riders still have the opportunity to be part of what is widely regarded as the “biggest thunder ride in the Himalayas.”

What is Poker Run Nepal?

Originating in 2009 with just 22 riders, Poker Run Nepal has evolved into one of the country’s largest and most celebrated riding events, attracting both national and international motorcycling enthusiasts.

Unlike a race, the event follows a non-competitive format where participants collect playing cards at designated stops along the route. The rider with the best poker hand at the end wins which makes the journey as engaging as the destination.

Beyond the ride, it is a social and cultural gathering, bringing together riders, travellers, and adventure seekers to celebrate the spirit of exploration and Nepali New Year.
