Chef Anand’s career reflects a rich and varied culinary journey spanning India, Malaysia, and Nepal. Specializing in Indian cuisine—and equally adept in Asian and Western kitchens—he is celebrated for blending authentic techniques with contemporary flair. Throughout his career, he has contributed to several pre-opening projects and enhanced dining programs for renowned hospitality groups such as IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hilton, Marriott, DoubleTree by Hilton, Courtyard by Marriott, Radisson Blu, and AnCasa Hotels & Resorts.
Before joining Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu Budhanilkantha, he served as Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Surat and Executive Sous Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon. His earlier positions with Hilton, Holiday Inn New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida, and other esteemed hotels have strengthened his expertise in kitchen leadership, menu development, food safety, and innovative culinary concepts.
At the resort, Chef Anand aims to elevate its culinary landscape by weaving regional Nepali influences into his distinctive style. Guests can expect refreshed menus, enhanced dining rituals, and thoughtfully curated gastronomic experiences across all restaurants and bars.
