Jeet Bahadur Khatri is the lucky winner for the Yeti Airlines' Dashain-Tihar offer this year. The leading private airline in Nepal had announced an offer with exciting prizes and was open to all passengers travelling through the carrier during Dashain and Chhath.
Yeti Airlines had issued a notice prior to this, stating they would choose three lucky winners of which the grand prize was the Yamaha Fascino scooter.
Passengers were eligible to win a grand prize of a Yamaha Fascino scooter worth Rs 2,67,900, the second prize being round-trip tickets for a couple to Dubai, and the third prize of diamond earpieces.
Khatri, who had flown from Kathmandu to Pokhara, was announced as the winner on their Facebook live lucky draw event. The second prize winner of the same lucky draw was Dhrubaraj Bhattarai. Likewise, the third prize winner was Sarupya Satyal.
The prizes were sponsored by Yamaha Nepal, Ticket Online and Balaji Diamonds respectively. According to Yeti Airlines' spokesperson, Sudarsan Bartaula -- 107,055 passengers travelled to various destinations via Yeti Airlines during the Dashain-Chhath period, while the offer was active.
