World Federation of Democratic Youth called on India to leave Nepali territory and resolve the border dispute at the earliest

The World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) has called on India to immediately back off from the Nepali territory it has encroached upon in the north-west border.

The Federation concluded that India has constructed road by encroaching on land belonging to Nepal. It said Nepal should get back its territories.

WFDY's international vice-president Sundar Bhusal said the Federation decided to stand by Nepal on this issue after holding discussion in the WFDY International Committee. The Federation has also decided to press India through the United Nations if the former did not make initiatives to return the Nepali territory.

WFDY has also urged India to resolve the border dispute at the earliest. It has called for resolving the border dispute between the two countries referring to the Sugauli Treaty of 1816.
