With the airline highly known for its inclusivity and diversity, Virgin Atlantic has said it is committed to becoming a more diverse workplace

After two years of chaos of the pandemic, Virgin Atlantic is one of the airlines taking a direction of recovery with its action to recruit 400 new cabin crew in its carrier as it tries to replenish staff lost in the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the airline highly known for its inclusivity and diversity, Virgin Atlantic has said it is committed to becoming a more diverse workplace. Applicants from all backgrounds, no matter age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion or beliefs are appreciated to join the aircrew.

These new recruiting roles will be a part of the initial six-month fixed-term contract with a vision to extend. In 2021, the airline welcomed back 750 returning crew who were placed in a holding pool, with 230 also assigned to return in the first quarter of 2022.

With the world's easing travel restrictions, the airline has been able to recruit externally for the first time in two years. They have been said to be committed to embracing crews' differences and individuality and encourage crew 'to truly be themselves at work'.
