This is the first incident of its kind in Kasara in which the big cat has eaten up a crocodile. A tiger that was injured during a fight with another one ate the crocs, CNP Information Officer Ganesh Prasad Tiwari said.
According to him, the injured tiger entered the breeding centre by crossing over the shorter portion of the wall from where people used to enter it after it could not hunt. Tiwari shared that the tiger ate up female crocodiles who were 12 years old around the morning. The tiger is also a 12-year-old male. The tiger has been darted and taken under control. It has been sent to Banke, he said.
