Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Suresh Adhikari has expressed his commitment to provide the necessary support for the development of bilateral tourism between Nepal and Egypt. During a discussion program between the travel and tour operators of both countries held in Cairo, Egypt, he said that the government is ready for the development and expansion of the tourism sector, which is a priority sector for the country's development.
Likewise, Nepal's ambassador to Egypt, Sushil Kumar Lamsal, said there is huge potential for partnership in the tourism sector between the two countries, which have ancient civilizations and are adorned with cultural and natural beauty. The General Manager of the Egypt Tourism Authority, Ahmed Ali, said that the authority is willing to welcome Nepali travel agents on an informational tour.
Senior Manager of the Nepal Tourism Board, Sunil Sharma, and General Secretary of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents, Kumarmani Thapaliya, made a presentation on Nepal's tourism heritage and Nepal-Egypt tourism potential.
