Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has urged travel companies to provide information regarding those passengers who travelled to Nepal along with COVID-19-infected person.
In a press statement issued today, NATTA President Achuyt Guragain has appealed to travel companies which did ticketing for passengers arriving in Nepal by Qatar Airlines on March 17 and Vistara Airlines on March 20 to disclose all the information. Among the Nepalis arriving Nepal in these flights, three tested positive for COVID-19.
NATTA stated that it was the duty of every citizen to comply with the directives issued by the state to help contain the deadly virus. NATTA has urged every citizens to observe the nationwide lockdown enforced by the government since March 24 to stem the spread of COVID-19.
Also, those arriving in Nepal are requested to stay in self quarantine to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.
