The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel agents has elected Ramesh Thapa as its new president.
Thapa is the proprietor of Thapa Monsoon Travels and Tours.
NATTA’s 55th annual general meeting was held on Thursday. Thapa won the election to the post by defeating Binay Basnet as per the vote count of the 23rd election today morning.
Promod Dhakal, Barun Mehta and Kumarmani Thapaliya have been elected as the senior vice-president, vice-president and general secretary respectively. Yubika Bhandari, Raj Kumar Devkota and Gita Dhakal were elected as the Secretary, Treasurer and Joint-Treasurer respectively, as members of the new executive committee of NATTA. Similarly, Bishnu Pandey, Dhaknath Kafle, Namraj Bhetwal, Parshuram Ghimire, Ram Shovit Nayak, Sabala Bhandari, Dendi Sherpa and Shraddha Joshi have also been elected as additional members of the new executive committee.
