Dubai is now home to the Museum of the Future, also being considered one of the most aesthetically pleasing buildings in the world. Designed by Killa Design, a local studio, the museum is dedicated to the future. Sitting on a grass-covered mound, the museum is already iconic, due to its sheer style, and design.

The seven-storey museum has been built for the Dubai Future Foundation, and is dedicated to the future with workshops for testing and developing emerging technologies. It is an exhibition space for innovative and futuristic ideologies, services, and products.

According to Mohammed Al Gergawi, Chairman, Dubai Future Foundation, "The Museum of the Future is a 'living museum', constantly adapting and metamorphosing as its very environment drives continual and iterative change to its exhibits and attractions."

The museum was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates on February 22. It is being said that the museum will take visitors on a journey to the future, as far as the year 2071. It houses a 345-seat lecture hall and also has numerous laboratory spaces. Additionally, the museum has a multi-use hall that can accommodate 1000 people.

The inspirational building has three written notes for all to see. They are, "We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone"; "The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn't something you await, but rather create"; and "Innovation is not an intellectual luxury. It is the secret behind the evolution and rejuvenation of nations and peoples." It has held numerous exhibitions since 2016 and truly stands as a symbol of innovation and ideas.
