Kathmandu, Nepal | August 11, 2026 — Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu, Budhanilkantha, by IHG, is pleased to announce the appointment of Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury as General Manager, effective August 7, 2026. Bringing extensive leadership experience across IHG properties in South West Asia and India, Suprabhath assumes the role with a strong focus on operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, and driving the resort’s continued growth.
Suprabhath brings a distinguished track record within IHG, most recently serving as the Opening General Manager of the first voco hotel in the South West Asia (SWA) region, a position he has held since April 2024. His previous leadership roles with IHG include General Manager at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage at Crowne Plaza Nairobi, and Director of Food & Beverage at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar.
During his tenure at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, Suprabhath was also appointed Regional Champion (West) for Rooms & Beverage (R&B) for IHG Hotels in India, recognising his leadership, operational expertise and contribution to the organisation.
