In the Caribbean islands, the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique has relaxed their requirements for vaccinated travellers. With the Caribbean islands being the hotspot for tourism, the states have decided to open up to attract tourism and visitors in 2022.

From now on, these destinations will now accept either a negative antigen test result one day before travel or a 72-hour pre-departure PCR test. All travellers must also submit a travel health declaration form to the state's Ministry of Health.

With the opening of the borders, the states of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique will focus their efforts on tourism from the UK. Seeing strong numbers from UK travellers last year, the countries hope to boost numbers further in 2022.
