On Wednesday, the World Vision Organization brought nine members of the World Vegan Group to a hospitable community home in Baglung Municipality-10 Bhakunde. There are three British, six American, and three Nepali citizens in the group.
After a long time, foreign tourists came to Gharbas, the owners of Gharbas are excited. For the previous three years, Gharbas was intermittently open and shut during the corona outbreak. The foreign tourists who reached Bhakunde were welcomed collectively by the gharbas management.
Watching the sunrise from the view tower in Bhakunde, the glaciers visible from here have attracted them. In Bhakunde, they used products such as millet, gundruk, and local varieties of potatoes.
“After three years foreign tourists came to the gharbas here, which is often crowded with domestic tourists. We used to run Gharbas and wait for the guests, we are happy when anyone from home country or a foreigner comes. Our business is Gharbas, we have to live with this income." Said Gharbas owner Indra Thapa
"We planned to bring the members of the group to Baglung market and the houses here every year. After the foreign tourists reach home, they will help in the promotion and use of the products here," said Suresh Sharma, president of World Vision Organization Nepal.
“Tourists who come to visit various tourist areas of Baglung enjoy the nature here. They spend two days in the house and one day in the market, in between they enjoy the art and culture here, enjoy the natural heritage. This will be a continuous process." Said President Sharma._Rss
