With the summer season surge of air travellers coming up, Etihad Airways has announced that it will now deliver flights and routes to the French city of Nice from June 15th. With the city being proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the new connection hopes to boost tourism and the network usage of the worldwide Etihad airways.
Service to the French city of Nice will be given twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays from the cities of Abu Dhabi and Nice Cote d Azur through Boeing 787s. With the city being renowned for its famous waterfront and as a tourism destination, the carrier has expressed confidence in providing service to a broad range of leisure travellers. This has been the fifth addition to the Etihad network in 2022 after Crete, Malaga, Santorini and Zanzibar, all set to launch in the summer.
