While many countries have been moving away from restrictive people, Estonia change in travel restrictions has been more nuances with some people having fewer restrictions and some having more.
This change in restrictions will be implemented from February 21, tomorrow. Estonia will scrap its previous green, yellow and red list. There is a new green list with any country being in it that has less than 299 infections per 100,000. Any other countries with more than 299 infections per 100,000 people will be kept on the new red list. Under these new rules, only Vatican city is eligible to be on the new green list.
While vaccinated travellers or recovered travellers will have no restrictions to travel in the country. The new changes will only be implemented for non-vaccinated travellers. For green-list countries, a negative test must be presented or must be taken on arrival while for red-list countries while a test is not mandatory, a mandatory seven-day quarantine must be done.
