KATHMANDU, NEPAL – 8th May, 2025 – Dusit Princess Kathmandu proudly launched its "Awadhi खाना" food festival on May 8th, 2025, with an exclusive showcase of Awadhi cuisine presented by the chefs themselves. The festival, running until May 18th, 2025, at the hotel's signature Soi restaurant, promises a regal culinary journey into the rich and aromatic flavours of Awadh.

The unveiling event featured an engaging interaction with the chefs, who introduced the meticulously crafted dishes and answered questions about the cuisine's unique elements. The presentation emphasized the rich spices and symbolic decorations, such as dried rose petals and spice-filled mini sacks, enhancing the visual appeal of the dishes. A thoughtfully curated menu includes an equal offering of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with six items each, ensuring a delightful experience for all palates.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Samir Banerjee, Cluster General Manager of Dusit Princess Kathmandu and Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel Nepal, said, “We are excited to bring the culinary richness of Awadh to Kathmandu.
