Youths from Amargadhi-2 in Dadelhura District have prohibited the entry of people into the village from other areas including neighbouring country India.
The youth said that they were compelled to take such decision to prevent the possible risk of coronavirus spread as more and more people were coming to the village from different places including India.
A local resident Shivam Bhandari argued, "They have imposed restrictions on the entry of people in their village as people have entered here without health checkups."
People’s representatives reaching the doorsteps of the villagers have been asking newcomers to stay in their houses. Meanwhile, face masks and soaps have been distributed to the people from the Raute community at Parashuram Municipality-4.
