Gandaki State Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has highlighted the need for combined efforts in the prevention, containment and treatment of COVID-19 pandemic.
In his best wishes on the occasion of Chaite Dashain today, he called on the entire citizen to contribute with unity in the efforts against the prevention and control of the virus when the whole world has been adversely affected by the pandemic.
"Religious and cultural festivals are meant for keeping social unity, harmony, goodwill and religious tolerance intact, CM Gurung said in the message. "Such festivals had helped promote national unity. ''The nation enriched by multi-cultural, multi-linguistic, multi-religious, and geographic diversities is constitutionally a secular country and a democratic republic federal system," added the message.
