A cleanup campaign was steered in the bus park area of the metropolitan city today, as per the cleanliness campaign every Friday morning. The Naya Gudri and Janthap tolls have been incorporated into the cleaning program that commenced in the bus park.
The program was featured with the theme "Keep your house and yard clean, retain a clean and striking metropolis."
Deputy Mayor Shilpa Nirala Karki and Chief District Officer of Morang Kashiraj Dahal participated in the cleanliness campaign jointly organized by the Bus Park Toll Development Committee and the District Police Office's community-police partnership. Tirthendra Neupane, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 11, Padam Shrestha, Chairman of Toll Development Committee, Metropolis staff, District Administration Office staff, police, hoteliers, and the general public also participated in the cleanliness campaign.The city area has been clean and green as an outcome of the cleaning campaign for a few days.
