China's Air Travel goes up by 40.2 per cent

The festive celebration week of the Spring Festival holiday has seen China's air travel shoot up by 40.2 per cent. While the trips reached their peak on Feb 6 with about 1.23 million trips made, it is still below pandemic levels. 

Through Civil Aviation Administration of China has reported that from Jan 31 to Feb 6, there were a total of 5.01 million air passenger trips with more than 25 per cent happening on the last day.  The punctuality rate in the airline has also reached about 97.08 per cent, up by 0.83 per cent from last year. Checking the number of flights, it totalled about 62.744 during Spring Festival, rising 33.3 per cent year on year.
