On March 22, 2024, Cathay Pacific Airways and Sabre Travel Network Nepal co-hosted a Product Briefing and Pre-holi celebration for nearly 100 travel agencies, marking a distinctive annual occasion. Cathay Pacific, headquartered in Hong Kong, has been operating four weekly flights to Kathmandu, with plans to add a fifth flight starting April 2024, further connecting passengers to Hong Kong and beyond.
The event held at Attic, Gyaneshwor, commenced with registration and traditional Holi greetings, followed by lunch and product presentations from Cathay Pacific and Sabre. Subsequently, attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and music, fostering camaraderie and providing a reprieve from their busy schedules.
The event concluded with Junu Maleku, Country Lead and head of sales for Cathay Pacific Airways Nepal, and Anupa Budhathoki, General Manager for Sabre Travel Network Nepal, expressing appreciation to the participating agencies for their time and engagement, with a commitment to reconvene next year.
