With 2022 being the year of recovery for the aviation industry with the international air industry slowing picking up steam, Air Canada has announced a significantly expanded international summer schedule with the carrier relaunching over 34 routes across the Atlantic and Pacific.

Starting next month, non-stop services will begin resuming from Toronto to Tel Aviv, Paris, Tokyo and Amsterdam, signs that recovery is well underway. Service from Montreal to Casablanca, Nice, Algiers, Rome, Tel Aviv and Tokyo will also be resuming. From Vancouver, Air Canada will be offering service to Frankfurt, Dublin and Zurich.

Air Canada is also relaunching service to popular tourist destinations such as Barcelona, Budapest, Copenhagen, Madrid, Milan, and Venice, which have been suspended since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

Air Canada has also made its major expansion in the international market in concurrence with its expansion in the North American network. This includes seven new routes being scheduled for summer 2022 and 41 previously suspended routes resuming.

Air Canada has also clarified that the international flights timing have been optimised for more connectivity with their extensive North American network, including 46 airports in the United States. And with their partnership with their Joint Venture and Star Alliance partners, their combined network offers easy access to almost any destination in the world.
