UK National Day celebrated in Expo 2020 

The theme of the UK Pavilion is 'Innovation for a Shared Future' which demonstrates the country's pivotal role in leading innovation efforts globally

With Expo 2020 going strong in Dubai, with Fifa Cup being in the fair, Nepal celebrating its National Day in the Expo and Prince William coming to Dubai to celebrate the UK National Day. It celebrated its auspicious day with many feature cultural performances by the Band of the Coldstream Guards. 

There was also a site-wise journey of the Commonwealth Games Queen's Relay Baton and 40 children from the Dubai British School participated in the Rugby League World Cup at the Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing Hub. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge will tour the site, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will perform in Jubilee Park, and the UK in 360 Projection will light up Al Wasl Plaza accompanied by performances from musicians including John Newman and Tom Seals.

UAE and UK have both expressed the relationship between the two countries have been strengthened with new programs like 'Partnership for the Future' and the expanded UAE-UK Sovereign Investment Partnership to create new trade and collaborate on several sectors like life sciences, education, climate and security.
