A 'truss bridge' has been installed over the Daraun rivulet, which flows through the edge of Arjunchaupari Rural Municipality Bazaar in Syangja. The bridge was constructed to establish a connection between Arjunchauipari 1 and 2. The Daraun River divides Arjunchaupari Bazaar into two parts. The 'truss bridge' has been installed after the suspension bridge that was built three decades ago in the middle part of the main bazaar was deteriorating. There was an increasing risk of accidents when the wooden materials used in the suspension bridge decayed.

It had also troubled minors to reach the school. 'Movement through the bridge was difficult due to the decrepit condition of the bridge', said Chairperson of Arjunchaupari Rural Municipality, Prakash Tiwari. He further said, 'We installed the truss bridge when it was impossible to mend the suspension bridge by pulling the wire rope due to its location in the middle part of the bazaar'. The new bridge with a 32-meter length was constructed at a total cost of Rs 5 million, including Rs 2.9 million from the federal government, Rs 2 million from the rural municipality, and Rs 100,000 from locals._Rss
