After undergoing its scheduled sea check maintenance, the wide-body aircraft 9N-ALY (Annapurna) of Nepal Airlines Corporation has successfully returned to service. The maintenance was conducted by Italy's renowned MRO company, Attitech, which is certified by both the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Upon completion, all international regulatory procedures were followed, and the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) was issued, officially clearing the aircraft for operation.
Following the receipt of the CRS, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal swiftly processed the necessary legal permissions. This allowed the aircraft to land safely at Tribhuvan International Airport on September 12, 2024. With 9N-ALY back in service, the airline now has three wide-body aircraft available, promising to enhance passenger experience on long-haul routes, including flights to Japan and other international destinations.
