For the first time in history, the sacred premises of Pashupatinath Temple will host a Kotihom Mahayagya throughout the entire month of Shrawan. This grand and historic event, scheduled to take place from July 16, 2024 (Shrawan 1, 2081) to August 16, 2024, promises to be a significant spiritual gathering, attracting devotees and spiritual seekers from far and wide.
The primary objective of this Mahayagya is to raise funds for the construction of two noble initiatives: the Shree Mamaghar Orphanage Shelter in Lalitpur and the Chhoriko Ghar Old-Age Orphanage Shelter in Bhaktapur. These projects aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for orphans and elderly individuals in need.

The Kotihom Mahayagya is expected to be a spiritually enriching experience, featuring a series of rituals, prayers, and offerings conducted by learned priests and scholars. Devotees will have the opportunity to participate in various ceremonies and seek blessings for prosperity, peace, and well-being.
The organizers of the Kotihom Mahayagya extend a warm invitation to all devotees and spiritual seekers to join this historic event. By participating, individuals will not only enhance their spiritual journey but also contribute to the noble cause of supporting vulnerable members of the community.

By joining the Kotihom Mahayagya, individuals can seek blessings, engage in charity, and immerse themselves in Nepal's rich cultural heritage. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a grand spiritual celebration while making a meaningful impact on society.
