The inaugural outbound flight, H9 787, took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 10:07 local time, destined for Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, with an estimated flight duration of 3 hours and 14 minutes. The return journey is scheduled to depart from Chongqing at 16:25 local time, arriving in Kathmandu at 18:35 local time. Notably, 125 passengers were aboard the maiden flight.
Commencing December 12, 2023, Himalaya Airlines will operate two weekly flights every Tuesday and Saturday between the two cities. This marks the airline's fourth direct connection between China and Nepal, including existing routes to Beijing, Qingdao, and Shanghai.
