Beirut, a new Lebanese restaurant in Kathmandu’s Gairidhara, is bringing the authentic flavours and culture of the Levant to Nepal. Officially opening on 23 May 2026, the restaurant offers traditional mezze, grilled dishes, shisha, and Mediterranean hospitality within a refined courtyard setting.

Kathmandu’s culinary landscape is set to welcome a new Mediterranean gem as Beirut officially opens its doors to the public on 23 May 2026 in Gairidhara, introducing an authentic Lebanese dining experience.

Inspired by the rich traditions of the Levant, Beirut recreates the spirit of Lebanese dining, where meals are slow, social, and deeply connected to community. Drawing from the lifestyle nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mont Liban mountains, the restaurant invites guests to savour vibrant mezze, smoky grilled meats, fresh salads, fine wine, music, and hukkah in elegant yet understated surroundings.

Set within a beautifully restored historical courtyard, Beirut blends Kathmandu’s charm with Mediterranean sophistication. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing premium ingredients from local farmers and artisans while incorporating house-made specialties that reflect the authenticity of Lebanese cuisine.

Sharing food, conversation, music and moments together lies at the heart of Lebanese culture,” the restaurant shares. “At Beirut, we want guests to experience not just the flavours of Lebanon, but its lifestyle and hospitality.

To celebrate its launch, Beirut is offering a special discovery promotion with 25 per cent off on food and shisha until 30 June 2026.

Located in Gairidhara, Beirut will serve lunch and dinner daily from noon to 9 p.m., except Mondays.

Reservations can be made via phone at +977 9712066188 or through Beirut Nepal’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
