The Bagh Jhoda Wetland in Morang's Sundarharaincha-10 district is a sight to admire.

The magnificent Bagh Jhoda wetland is adjacent to the dense forest of Char Kose Jhadi. Locals claim that since tigers were once abundant in this region, it was given the name Bagh Jhoda Wetlands.

During the season, the activity of those who organize various programs, picnics, take photos, videos, and make tiktok while enjoying the natural beauty around the wetland has increased drastically.

Consequently, substantial ponds have also been built since it is a wetland site that never dries up and is full of water for twelve months. Furthermore, this has aided farmers with irrigation.

According to locals, if this area is developed further and boats can be set up, the community can generate substantial income.

The distance from Khorsane Bazar in Sundararaincha Nagar to Bagh Jhoda wetland is about one kilometer. It is easy to reach the site due to the abundance of small vehicles on the well-kept roads. Using age-old techniques and creativity, cozy wooden boards have been created for living here. Erratic fishes, turtles, birds, and many aquatic flora and fauna balance the ecosystem of the wetland. It now has an additional attraction to enjoy with the installation of a renovated tiger statue in the marshes.

In Bagh jhoda, huge statues of elephants and dinosaurs have been erected, and now cottages can also be seen.

Every year, people from different places visit Bagh Jhoda in the month of Baisakh to hold a fair.

Visitors can witness the attractive scenery of forest, wetland, and pond all at once._Rss
