In search for BP Koirala’s thoughts and ideals, The BP Museum Committee ventured from Sundarijal, Kathmandu to Biratnagar-based historical Koirala Niwas on June 13. According to Parshuram Pokharel, founder chair of the museum committee, this visit has been set out to unleash BP's political thoughts and ideals so as to strengthen democratic values and principles.
During the journey, the soil and image of the museum will be taken to Biratnagar. The team is set to make a day-long visit to Biratnagar on Friday to study about the first people-elected Prime Minister of Nepal, BP Koirala. Museum chair Pokharel said onsite visits would be made to the places associated to the life of Koirala. The visit is set as part of the journey from Sundarijal to Benaras to explore his ideals. This round of journey would end in Sundarijal on June 15. Earlier, the team had initiated the exploration from Koirala's origin, Dumja, on last February 23. The museum has the plan to go to all 77 districts of the country within two years as part of the campaign of searching for BP's ideals.
After completing the nationwide journey, the closing programme would be held at the residence of Supreme Leader Ganeshman Singh at Chaksibari, Kathmandu.
