The Himlung Expedition is a less technical climb of a 7126m mountain in Nepal, Himlung Expedition needs previous mountain experience and simple technical knowledge. It is lately open for trekking and mountain expedition in Nepal. It is situated between the Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayas of Nepal.  The trek takes you to two ancient Buddhist Tibetan settlements Naar and Phu. Serving warm hospitality before getting to Himlung Himal.

The trekking starts west of Kathmandu and to Beshishar. It follows the classic Annapurna Circuit trail up the Marshyangdi river valley to the village of Koto, before veering off into the Naar Phu Valley of the remote Gandaki region. This Naar and Phu region was just opened for trekking in 2001 for foreign tourists.
