AirIndia cancels today's US flight being the latest in the long series of airlines that have protested the integration of 5G in US airports. Air India announced on Twitter that Delhi-New York, Delhi-San Francisco, Delhi-Chicago and Mumbai-New Jersey filghts will not be operated.
Many airlines have protested the installation of 5G because it can disrupt aircraft communications system. Also that the technology could disrupt the aircraft ability ot measure altitude, a major navigational component in an airilne.

Airlines have asked for 5G service companies to not extend the service around 2 miles around the airport..Amidst the protests and complaints of airline, major companies like Verizon and AT&T, significant US internet service providers, have announced that they will not extend 5G service to major airports.
