The world's second-longest Superman-style zip line built in the mountains has been finally built and has been operating commercially from Saturday. The Chief Patron of the Zipline Steering Committee, Ram Chandra Joshi, informed that the zip line has been brought into regular operation after continuous testing. According to Joshi, ticket booking has been opened as soon as it is operated commercially. Ticket booking has been open with the cost being Rs 3,500 per person.
He said that although the technical equipment was connected on January 1, the first day of the new year 2022, it could not be operated as all the tests were not completed. Preparations have been made to bring the resort into operation along with the commercial operation of the zipline. Investors claim that the 1,400-meter-long zip line from Chakle Dil in Kusma to Saune Bagar through the deep gorge of Kaligandaki will be another appealing method to attract tourists to the area.
The zipline can carry two people together and reach the destination in 60 to 90 seconds. The journey will start from the height of 238 meters from the surface of the river Kaligandaki and will land at the resort to be built on the banks of the River Kaligandaki. Poudel also said that the mountain jeep line in Superman-style is the second-longest in the world. With Kushma also being the place of Nepal's highest and the the world's second highest bungee jump, Kushma is rearing up to be a very appealing place for tourism to flourish in.
