The guests who came to witness the traditional Indrajatra departed. They attended the commemoration of the worship of Devraj Indra, the god of rain and time. Guests from various parts of the country and overseas traveled to Kathmandu on the invitation of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to observe the historical parade. In addition to witnessing the Jatra, the guests were given a heritage tour of Basantpur, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Kirtipur, as well as Handigaon.
Indra Jatra, Hiti culture, Akash Bhairav, and Deshemaru Jhya-related social and cultural activities were all witnessed during the stretch of time. Furthermore, information pertaining to the monastery, temple, square, and other rituals was shared.
Activities like pottery making, cloth weaving, and sampling delicacies of local foods were observed during the visit. Likewise, the Swayambhu Stupa Complex of the World Heritage Area was also visited.
A sightseeing trip to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square was organized for the guests in tandem with Bhaktapur City and Lalitpur Mahanagar._Rss
