The Alpine Swiss nation is the latest country in the series of countries that have eased their travel restrictions against COVID-19 in 2022. The new measures have given visitors and people living in the European country much more freedom with dealing with the coronavirus.
In line with the new looser restrictions, visitors coming to Switzerland don't need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test or complete an entry form about the pandemic. This has been paired with masks and vaccination passes not being required to enter shops, restaurants, cultural venues and other public spaces.
In addition, the need to wear masks and a work-from-home recommendation by the government has ended along with capacity limits on large scale gatherings. The only caveat to this is that if anyone is tested positive will need to wear masks on public transportation and healthcare institution.
