Sisneri road section of Makawanpur obstructed

Rain-triggered flood has obstructed Sisneri road section in Makawanpur since this morning.

Transport service has been halted due to a landslide at Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3 Tirtiredhara. According to the Area Police Office, Bhimphedi, employees of the Department of Roads are now working to remove the debris. Traffic would be brought back to smooth operation by this afternoon, said Police Inspector at Lahan Police Office Pratima Karki. Vehicles heading to Kathmandu via the Herauda-Bhimphedi road section have been stranded on the road. Passengers have headed to their destinations using alternative routes, Karki further informed.
