Qatar Airways, created in 1997, is celebrating its 25h anniversary with a nostalgic flashback with a delivery of a Boeing 777-300 aircraft painted in a special retro-design as a special nod to the history and the evolution of the airline.
The aircraft has made its debut as a retro livery aircraft operation as Flight QR 0041 from Haman International Airport (HIA), Doha to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. This aircraft, which is a homage to the history of the airline will continue to fly with the airlines for its 25th year.
This aircraft, in addition to the painting, will also feature retro designs, which the airline hopes will bring many memories of travel to our passengers, especially customers of our service who experienced travelling with them in their early years.
Qatar Airways while looking back at its 25 years, have said that it looks forward to 2022 as a year of endless landmark events and celebrations planned across this period. With the much anticipated FIFA World Cup happening this year in Qatar, the airline is in a unique position to capitalize on opportunities for its benefit.
