Panchpokhari Thangpal emerging as tourist hub

Panchpokhari Thangpal municipality has advanced its development with the endeavor to bounce as tourist hub

Panchpokhari, located at an altitude of about 4,151 meters above sea level, is a major tourist allure.

According to Tasi Lama, President of Panchpokhari Thangpal municipality, “it will be easy to accomplish the campaign of adapting Pachthal Municipality as tourist hub not only in terms of nature, but also in terms of cultural and religious beliefs, since there are natural picturesque religious places such as Amayangri hill, historical place Menjum, Dragon cave, Haveli, historical man above Panchpokhri, Jugal Himashrikhla, Nagi Thamdanda, Chyocho hill, Naulingeshwar Mahadev within the municipality.”

Village Vice President Sunita Adhikari added that transportation is the most important thing for tourism promotion and it has been prioritized.

Construction of a cable car to Panchpokhri is one of the municipality's ambitious plans. According to the village council, a preliminary report has been compiled for operating a cable car from Savik Bhotang Gavis to Panchpokhri under the rural municipality. The cable car will be 6.15 kilometers in length and will run from Chimti Deurali in Bhotang to Lauribinayak. _RSS
