Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Nagpanchami Mela is celebrated at Dhapakhel Nagpokhari, Lalitpur after two years

The annual Nagpanchami Mela was observed at Dhapakhel Nagpokhari in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-24 on the day of Shravan Shuklapaksha Panchami Tithi. 

According to Dineshjung Pandey, the president of Lalitpur-24 Ward, the fair was organised by volunteers from clubs, cooperatives, and women's organisations.

He further added, “For the preservation of the mela held here, we used the one lakh rupees allocated by the Metropolitan Municipality for the salvation of art and culture through the city-level plan; additional funds were supported by the ward.”
