JetBlue Airways has doubled down on Airbus as its significant producer as it signed a order to Airbus for 30 additional aircraft of its double-engine Airbus A 220-300. This announcement takes the total order by JetBlue Airways to Airbus to 100 aircraft, more than eight of the current demand of Airbus A 220s with 740 planes.
JetBlue Airways has said that this additional order was based on the benefits and improvements in customer satisfaction and fuel efficiency they noticed while adding the eight A220s. With the 30 new and improved Airbus A 220s will put the carrier in a position to modernize the air fleet and deliver stronger cost performance and support our focus city network strategy.
