Hilton, despite the challenges and circumstances brought on my pandemic, has observed a record number of achievements. With Hilton already being one of the largest hotel companies, Hilton has opened 414 properties, adding more than 67,100 rooms to its system.

With 2021 being a year of recovery and growth is a testament to the Hilton team's resiliency and adaptability towards customers around the world. 2021 was a good year for Hilton, with 6,800 hotels in total, across six continents and with 18 brands under its belt. The company recorded a net unit growth of 5.6 per cent. 

The company development roadmap includes a massive 2,670 hotels with approximately 400,000 rooms, half of which is already under construction showing that Hilton is putting its money on the recovery of tourism and travel in 2022.
