Hotel Association Nepal prepping for the 17th Fewa New Year Festival
With the upcoming Fewa New Year Festival being organised in Pokhara on April 13 and 14, Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) is prepping for this festival to preserve and promote Nepali culture and cuisine in the local area.
The event is being held under the slogan of 'Tourism Culture and Food' and would also assist the COVID-battered tourism sector to get back on its feet. In addition to this, it will provide help and assistance to the sector facing adversities like devastating earthquakes, border blockade, India's demonetisation drive and high-interest rates in banks.
HAN has said that with the completion of the Pokhara International Airport and the rise in domestic air traffice to Pokhara due tourism events such as these, that Fewa New Year Nepal would have a positive impact on the international community, encourage foreigners to visit Nepal and disseminate positive message that Nepal is a safe destination to visit.
