France has relaxed travel restrictions on Tunisians after a continuous drop in the number of COVID-19 infections in the northern African country, Tunisia's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday. The French government confirms that Tunisia has entered the "green zone," a categorization that eliminates the requirement for vaccinated Tunisians to present a negative COVID-19 test result upon entry into France, the ministry said in a statement.
Early on Tuesday, the Tunisian Health Ministry reported 166 new COVID-19 cases, raising the caseload of COVID-19 infections in the country to 1,029,762. The death toll from the virus rose by two to 28,065 in Tunisia on Tuesday, while the total number of recoveries reached 983,630, according to the ministry.
