A Bailey bridge has been constructed over the Bhurung rivulet along the Beni-Jomsom road that links Mustang with the national highway via the northern belt of Myagdi within two weeks. Chief of Beni-Jomsom-Korola Road Project, Jagat Prajapati, informed that a 30-meter-long Bailey bridge has been installed over the Bhurung rivulet at Annapurna Rural Municipality-2 of Myagdi at a cost of Rs 3.5 million.

The Bailey bridge of the Lete rivulet in Mustang under the road section was shifted to the Bhurung rivulet. "Recent flooding in the Bhurung River has swept away a culvert over there", he said, adding, "The Bailey Bridge has been immediately installed to prevent problems in traffic operation on the Beni-Jomsom road even during flooding". The installation of the Bailey bridge that started in the first week of Ashad has been completed, informed Annapurna municipal executive member Bir Bahadur Poudel, adding that means of transport are now operating along the road with the bridge in place._Rss
