All UK-Russia flights cancelled following the Ukraine invasion

UK aviation authorities have banned British airlines from landing in Russia and crossing its airspace and banned all Russian carriers ncluding Aeroflot from the UK

With the Ukraine and Russia armed conflict going on, UK aviation authorities have banned British airlines from landing in Russia and crossing its airspace. The Russian has responded that this has been an 'unfriendly response decision by the UK civil aviation authorities.'

In addition, the UK also banned all Russian carriers including Aeroflot from the UK. All of these restrictions and measures have been in addition to extensive sanctions as a rebuke to the ongoing invasion. 

Till now, four flights between Russia and UK has been cancelled with two from Aeroflot and the other two from British Airways. British Airways have apologized for the cancellations and has offered full refunds. Virgin Atlantic has also noted that flight paths need to be adjusted for some of its services with some routes flights between 15 minutes to an hour.
