Hungary has repealed all COVID-19 restrictions, aiding the resumption to the pre-pandemic tourism scene.

As of the 22nd of March, all COVID-19 related restrictions have been relieved by the Hungarian government. For tourists, this means an unrestricted access to all attractions and accomodations- a return to pre-pandemic tourism. 

Travellers are now permitted to enter Hungary without the need for vaccination certificates or COVID-19 related tests. Moreover, they are no longer required to access indoor congresses or conferences, accomodations, spas or any outdoor events. The use of masks, additionally, are not mandatory in all settings; public or private

Land and water borders have been open without restrictions since June 2021 for individuals entering from Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia, but has now been eased for the rest of the world.
