airBaltic, an air carrier based in Latvia, has announced that the airline will offer passenger flights from its base in Riga to Malta, Yerevan and Baku. The airline has told that with the travel booming and flourishing again, the company will be able to offer their passengers more travel options. 

Before the pandemic, airBaltic was flying flights to Malta and Baku and was planning to open to Yerevan before the pandemic disrupted operations. From now onwards, Malta will receive one return service a week while Yerevan and Baku in Armenia and Azerbaijan respectively will get bi-weekly flights. 

With the airBaltic known to offer the best amount of connectivity in the Baltic Region like in Tallinn, Vilnius and Riga, it connects the region to European business centres and transit hubs and further beyond. In addition to these new routes, the air carrier hopes to open flights and routes from Riga to Dubai and Tenerife.
